Reaching out
Success Instructions: In Fallen London, you can add other players as contacts if you know their character name. For some social actions, a contact is all you require. You can add contacts, or select an existing one, when undertaking a social activity.
Some activities require a more personal touch. For these, you must first be acquainted with the intended recipient. To make an acquaintance, you must send a calling card, available in 'Attend to Matters of Society!', and hope that they accept.
There is a limit to the number of acquaintances you can maintain at once. To make new ones when you reach this limit, you must first snub an existing acquaintance, also available in 'Attend to Matters of Society!'.
