1 | Just Below the Surface | The Magistracy is already unrecognizable as soon as you are below the water. Green moss covers the walls. Tiny, misshapen fish swirl around your diving bell. |
2 | The Snails | Here, the stones in the walls have been fitted so perfectly; no light can shine through any cracks. Spiral motifs were carved into them, once, though they are worn nearly smooth. |
3 | Among Boughs | The walls here are tangled with the ancient remains of roots and vines. The stone is cracked by their intrusion, though the wood itself has long since petrified or rotted away. |
4 | Open Space | Your diving bell has entered a larger space; the dim glim-lamp light barely reaches the walls here. The light from above has completely faded; but something glows in the distance below. |
5 | Peligin Water | The water here is brutally cold, and livid with peligin light. Shadows flit around in the water, borne on fins or tentacles. The bottom is near. |
6 | The Bottom? | A stone floor impedes further progress. Patterns were carved into it, once; now they are partially obscured by a carpet of peligin moss. This is an inhuman place. |
