Wiki note: The cost in Warm Amber is 25 * Joints², where Joints is the number of all used and unused joints in your skeleton, namely ( + + + + + ). Since this option increases the number of joints, the cost also increases every time you take it. For a rib-cage that starts with 4 joints the cost goes 400, 1600, 3600, etc.
