A little progress
'Mr Twitch' produces a depressed gurgle and shivers his tentacles a little as you approach. Rubbery Men don't talk, as such, but you can piece together something of what happened.
He has traded deep amber in Veilgarden for a few years and despite the occasional ad hoc stoning, he seems satisfied with his station. He found the slug-thing on his travels beneath, and traded it to the unfortunate Mr Golloway, the poisoned trader. Apparently, Mr Golloway liked glistening things. He doesn't have any pennies.
