Barristering at Evenlode (Guide)
![]() |
Early Railroad Content |
Once you reach The Magistracy of the Evenlode and you can Address the main usher and then Go to the courts. Watch some trials to get an idea of how they proceed, building up
Time Spent in the Magistracy to 3. Then you may Intervene in a case in order to act as a barrister for the good citizens of the Neath.
General[edit]
A case is progressed over the course of six actions, and your options for each action are different at each point, and often dependent on the case you chose and sometimes options you took previously. You can intervene either on the defense or the prosecution, and each of these have different options.
- Choose a case
- Submitting Paperwork
- Opening Arguments
- Expounding on the Case
- Closing Arguments
- Awaiting the Verdict
Different options and certain cases may award Prestige of a Legal Case which both makes the final payout check more difficult and at the same time more rewarding, though getting this higher than 9 will result in no additional reward, despite the difficulty increase. Payout will also increase based on your Renown with the faction you're assisting.

At a maximum EPA of 4.27 and some rather hefty Mithridacy requirements, this is not a money maker, but it is the best way to obtain
Mirrorcatch Boxes and
Mortification of a Great Power.
