Proposal : Usage of ₥ sign as "omitted" sign

MzsIn my attempt to reduce amount excessive text due to word count limit, I decided to suggest a symbol, as "[...]" method wastes 5 word. Unfortunately, it looks like a symbol for "omission" don't exist, so I decided to settle with symbols in this wiki :
– — … ° ≈ ≠ ≤ ≥ ± − × ÷ ← → · § ~ | ¡ ¿ † ‡ ↔ ↑ ↓ • ¶ # ¹ ² ³ ½ ⅓ ⅔ ¼ ¾ ⅛ ⅜ ⅝ ⅞ ∞ ‘ “ ’ ” «» ¤ ₳ ฿ ₵ ¢ ₡ ₢ $ ₫ ₯ € ₠ ₣ ƒ ₴ ₭ ₤ ℳ ₥ ₦ № ₧ ₰ £ ៛ ₨ ₪ ৳ ₮ ₩ ¥ ♠ ♣ ♥ ♦
After constant and stressful searching, I decided that ₥ sign is most approprate. While this is not very good indicator, other good-looking symbols like «» , ‡ and ↔ had unrelated meaning. Especially ↔, which looked good at first but had very different meaning.
at least ₥ symbol have crossed mark and ¼ of word "omit" :(
And yes, I know that this is obviously confusing for many, even to seasoned wiki writers. But this is hard time. If you have better idea, please suggest it. Because I'm really sure that this is not really smart idea.
