I don't think they understand that. Keep in mind that outside of the board room (and perhaps inside it too) we, Furnace, Cornelius, and January if you involved her are solely responsible for all the work more complicated than swinging a shovel in the entire endeavor to get here. We practically did every step except physically build the line ourselves. The entire story of struggling to build the railroad involves these ungrateful bastards trying to sabotage the whole project at every step and bilk you for it while they're at it. I got the impression that Furnace was the only completely honest person in the entire union and it looks like that hasn't changed. I never found unions to be unsympathetic until I had to deal with THIS one.

And now I find out that they're anarcho-communists, too. Somehow I feel I should have seen that coming.
