    When Sent

    Betrayed! The Constable […] smiles grimly[…] "We were told you'd come," she says. "To provide an alibi by claiming to have spent the morning in question with this individual." […] she shakes her head. "We're watching you […] Thank you for your time."

    In Messages Tab

    You will receive:

    • You provided [Friend's name] with an alibi. Unfortunately, they warned the Constables you'd be doing just that, to cover for your own crimes. They suspect you, now!
    • You completed a Social Event: Cover for an Acquaintance with [Friend's name]


    Your friend will receive:

    [Your name] provided you with an alibi, to help throw the Constables off your scent. And because you warned the Constables beforehand they'd be coming to cover their own crimes, they are now suspected in your place!

    When Sent

    Betrayed! […] The Constables find nothing on your friend; they do, however, receive an anonymous message suggesting they search your home. They find the evidence in your possession. "Funny how this ended up with you," they say, snarling.

    You will receive:

    • You hid evidence from the Constables for [friend]. Unfortunately, your acquaintance betrayed you, and framed you for the crime.
    • You completed a Social Event: Cover for an Acquaintance with [Friend's name]


    Your friend will receive:

    [Your name] has hidden evidence, to help lower the Constables' suspicion of you. When you betrayed them, the investigation turned away from you to them!

    They have no choice but to accept your response Aiding an individual under the scrutiny of the law, when there's a chance it could drag you in, is simply not wise.
