You secrete one in your sleeve. When you get home, you immerse it in water. As the glue melts, the layers of paper separate out and reveal their secrets. All you need to do now is peg them out to dry.

Description summary:
This is the largest stock of postcards and stationery outside the Bazaar, all made by Mr. Pages. You steal a découpage box, and pick it apart by soaking it in water.

It's only later, when you inspect your hoard of new secrets, that you find a scrap of rose-coloured paper with the tiniest of inscriptions. 'IT IS NORTH UNDER GRANITE' it says on one side. The single word 'EATEN' is on the other.
