    Success

    Calling in favours

Success Instructions: In order to build the Admiralty's diving-bell, you'll need specialised tools. Most would be tricky to find, but the Youthful Naturalist has connections. Some of his contacts are stationed at ports across the Unterzee; to meet others, you'll need to rendezvous while you're zailing by searching for new options on Opportunity Cards. Currently, you still need to collect equipment from: • Port Cecil (with < 10) • The Fleet of Truth. You will need to be pursuing a Voyage of Scientific Discovery. (with < 10) • A Khaganian Patrol Vessel (with < 10) • The Court of the Wakeful Eye (with < 10) For the most part, the Naturalist's friends and acquaintances will only require Favours in High Places as a trade-off. But you'll also need 20 Tribute to appease the Wakeful Eye. (with < 10) And one final word of warning! If you choose to sell the materials you acquire, then you won't be able to complete the project without re-acquiring more on your own.

    Success

The Ebb and Flow of Regret

Success Instructions: In order to determine where to dive, you'll need to chart the Unterzee. Although the currents may flow in a spiral, you can chart the regions in any order.

Equip the Shell of Regret to calibrate your melancholic sensitivities. Then search for jellyfish in your Opportunity Deck. Once you encounter the jellyfish while you're zailing, you'll be able to chart sorrows in the corresponding zee-region.

Currently, you still need to chart:

    • Home Waters (with < 20)

    • Shepherd's Wash (with < 20)

    • The Sea of Voices (with < 20)

    • The Salt Steppe (with < 20)

    • The Pillared Sea (with < 20)

    • Stormbones (with < 20)

    • The Snares (with < 20)

Once again, remember to equip your Shell of Regret! If the Shell isn't equipped, then you won't find the Ebb and Flow of Regret in your Opportunity Deck.

    Success

    Spiralling Into Sorrow

Success Instructions: You've charted the Unterzee's sorrows. With their fluctuating coordinates at your command, you can now enter the spiral at any point and find your way to the centre.

Equip the Shell of Regret to attune yourself, once more, to the compass on your diving-bell. Then search your Opportunity Deck while you're zailing to locate the spiral.

You can zail anywhere you please. No matter which region you're exploring, your compass will eventually point you in the right direction.

You will need to be in optimal health with zero Wounds, however, to attempt the dive.
