General Info

Description

This template is used for Fate-locked actions. It is very similar to {{Action}} but any narrative rewards or consequences of playing the action are not shown.

Syntax

Icon

The filename of the image used in-game to represent this action. Do not include the "File:" namespace prefix, but do include the ".png" file extension.

From Card/Storylet title

Copy the name of the card or storylet which contain this action.

Fate Cost

Total Fate Cost to play the action.

Action cost

Only enter an Action Cost for values other than 1.

Description

The Action's description. When entering please be very mindful of Trimming Guidelines!

Description summary

used to summarize the Fate Action's description in their your words.

Game Instructions

for adding non-narrative game instructions. It doesn't count to the 250-rule.

Wiki Note

for any unofficial relevent information that is not already provided by the Description, Game Instructions, or Description Summary fields.

Unlocked with

lists the necessary conditions for this action to be selectable in-game. If there are none, leave this blank.

Locked with

lists conditions that will cause this action to be locked. Use this only if it's more logical here than in Unlocked with.

BroadQuality

The quality being tested in a Broad difficulty challenge.

BroadDiff

The difficulty level of a Broad difficulty challenge.

NarrowQuality

The quality being tested in a Narrow difficulty challenge.

NarrowDiff

The difficulty level of a Narrow difficulty challenge.

LuckChallenge

used for a Luck challenges. See {{LuckChallenge}} for possible values.

Challenge information

Used to describe challenges that don't fit the usual Broad, Narrow, or Luck types. If in doubt, tell the relevant quality level and success percentage. It helps greatly!
