Description

This template is used to mark pages for retirement, categorizing them in Category:Retired and setting Property:Is retired.

Syntax

Type {{Retired}} on the page to be retired.

Type {{Retired|new=page of new content}} or {{Retired|new=page of new content|newtext=text of link}} to also link to a replacement (e.g. in ).

Example

{{Retired|new=Ambushed by a Hack in the Waswood!|newtext=text of link}} produces
