Template:Social Actions Auto/doc

This template is used for Social Actions which are automatically accepted by the recipients.

There are two types of such actions:

  • "Regular" auto-accept. No action is needed by the recipient and they can't decline/accept it. e.g. sending someone First City Coins.
  • Actions which require the recipient to respond in some way. In this case, the recipient won't see Accept/Decline button on the message, but just a "Respond" button, redirecting them to a storylet from which they can indeed accept/decline in different ways (which are their own auto-accept Social Action). As an example, see Send a Calling Card.


Basic template with most common fields:

Additional optional parameters:

  • Title Appearance = Alternative display text for the "From Card/Storylet title"
  • From field formatted = Don't make a link out of what's in "From Card/Storylet title"
  • Action cost = In case it's not 1
  • Description summary = Player summary of the description field
  • Game Instructions = Game instructions for this action
  • Challenge information = If there's a stat challenge of some kind
  • Success summary = Player summary of the success results
  • Success Instructions = Any game instructions which come with completing the action.
  • Wiki Note = Player-provided note providing more information or clarification.
  • If the recipient has a Respond button, add a {{Redirect}} template at the end of their "Friend Accept description" field (after all other results/rewards), redirecting to the storylet where they can respond.
