As the lamp burns low and London begins to quiet (as much as it ever does), you finally have a moment to think – to reflect on what truly brought you to the Fifth City.

Game Instructions: Ambitions are among Fallen London's largest and most significant storylines. They represent a major undertaking will take a long time to complete – and you may only pursue one. Once you've picked an Ambition, it is very hard to change it.

This choice allows you to reflect on your reason for coming to Fallen London, but will not lock you into an Ambition just yet. To unlock an Ambition proper, begin Making Your Name in the relevant domains, then look for a storylet in Ladybones Road, Spite, Watchmaker's Hill, or Veilgarden.
