Success

A hearty spot of sport

Although fierce, these two are no match […] the spider is quite vanquished: squashed flat as a Tuesday pancake. […]

[…] the Scarred Naturalist comes around. […] keen to get to the next stage of the hunt – a weapon that can kill the Vake!

Description summary:
A fight leaves the wolf fleeing and the spider dead. The Scarred Naturalist is actually still alive, and after eating something he tries not to let you see, he recovers. He scolds you for killing his spider, but wants to start working on a weapon for the Vake hunt.

Failure

Wolf pack tactics with a spider

This pair have worked together before. One distracts you while the other tries to get behind you. The tactic works better than you like: you are soon bleeding and panting. You are forced to flee back into the marshes.
