Description summary:
The last paragraph describes the Hybrid's growth.

MaturityLast Paragraph
0Yes, she tells you, she and the Hybrid are both doing well. (It wiggles in her arms, looking only a little larger than when you last saw it.) It has devoured the last few drops of nectar, and now it needs something more substantial to feed on. […]
1The Hybrid has grown a little since last you saw it. Stripes of carapace are forming over its glutinous flesh. Its segmented legs are long as scimitars. "It's finished all the supplies you gave us last time," says Clara […]. "It's so hungry!"
2The Hybrid's mouthparts have developed a fearsome set of mandibles. Its spongy carapace has grown to almost a full-size shell, and is starting to glitter. Dr Vaughan is weighing it on a set of scales and making careful notes. […]
3The Hybrid's carapace shimmers like powdered sapphires. The shell has hardened enough that Dr Vaughan can rap her knuckles against it, producing a hollow knock. […] ravenously through its supply of food, […] it clicks its mandibles at you […] demanding more.
4The Hybrid is too large, now, to be held. It teeters about uncertainly on its segmented legs, keening for food. "It's started producing its moon-milk," says Clara proudly, pointing at the thin silvery liquid leaking from its mouthparts.
5The Hybrid is nowhere to be seen. "It's outside with Dr Vaughan, catching birds," says Clara brightly. "Let me take you. You won't believe how it's grown!"

Game Instructions: The Hybrid always needs Pulsating Amber, and an additional resource. Feeding it will increase its Maturity and either its Humanity or its Moon-Misery. You can feed it once every 24 hours (you will receive a notification when it is ready to be fed). The Hybrid will be strong enough to move when its Maturity is 5.
